Galaxy Root S3 GT-I9300 With Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean (Tutorial)
Already have a Galaxy S3 on your hands and enjoyed the benefits of the new interface Samsung TouchWiz UX Nature, but want to go further and spend the dark side to be the absolute owner of your device?
So the first thing you do is get superuser permissions so you can freeze, install and uninstall system apps, mods, custom roms as CM10.1 Nightly, Omega Rom Series and official firmware updates via Odin, etc.
The Galaxy S3 was released with Android 4.0.4 ICS, but now fully 2013 the vast majority of users have already been able to update via Odin or Samsung Kies to 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 Android Jelly Bean, so there are different methods for root access.

The latest CF-Root 6.4 lets you rooting any stock firmware Galaxy S3 GT-I9300.

That comes with CF-Root 6.4:

- CWM Manager v3.60
It does not come with CF-Root 6.4:
- Triangle Away
- Insecure ADBD
How to install or flash CF-Root 6.4:
Important: This method is only compatible with Galaxy S3 GT-I9300.
Run Odin v1.85
Brand PDA field and find the file CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.tar which is the file to decompress it CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.zip.
Put your download mode GT-I9300 Galaxy S3 : Turn off your device and press the Volume key down + Home + Power (if it asks you to press a particular key to continue, press that key).
Connect your device to your computer via USB.
Make sure the box is unchecked or Repartition active.
Star button and wait a few minutes until the process is completed.
Your Galaxy S3 will reboot and you will rooteado the stock firmware Android 4.0.4 ICS that comes with your device.

If you have Android 4.1.1 or 4.1.2:
With the bug Exynos processor and sudden death reported, you still only an option, and install root or flash a secure kernel to avoid these two major problems.

Put your download mode Galaxy S3, run Odin, synchronize your S3 via USB and select the file i9300.tar.md5 philz_touch_4.00-b04-PDA in the field, make sure the Re-Partition field is not checked, and click Star

Download and copy to the SD card of your smartphone:
If you want to root with Busybox | Root_SuperSU.0.98-Busybox.1.20.2-signed.zip (recommended).
If you just want root | Root_SuperSU.0.98.Only-signed.zip.
Turn off your Galaxy S3 and press Vol + + Home + Power and select install from sd card and find the file. zip you go to flash only root or root with busybox, reboot your smartphone.
That’s all you have root access to your Galaxy S3 with a secure kernel that prevents sudden death and the Exynos chip bug.
